This is your therapy, therefore we try to create a culture of feedback in order to best provide what you need from the process. Clinicians at Spectrum Mental Health work according to a Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) model. Each session, you can expect your clinician to ask you to complete two brief scales with your feedback, each taking less than one minute to complete, in order to track how you’re doing and how you’re finding the therapy.
The purpose of this is to
- track how you’re doing in therapy over time in order to identify changes, and
- get feedback on what you believe is going well versus not so well in your therapy, so that your clinician can tailor the work to fit your needs.
